You search the Scriptures, for you think in them you have everlasting life. And they are the ones witnessing concerning Me. (John 5:39 KJ3)

What is the Bible? What is its purpose? Who was it compiled for? Is it a book that can be interpreted individually to form opinions as we see fit? Who can understand and apply the tenor of the Bible for eternal life quest? Is the Bible still relevant on the planet?

You search the Scriptures, for you think in them you have everlasting life. And they are the ones witnessing concerning Me. (John 5:39 KJ3)

And beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, He explained to them, in all the Scriptures, the things about Himself. (Luke 24:27 KJ3)

Luke 24:44-45 KJ3
(44) And He said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you yet being with you, that all the things must be fulfilled having been written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, concerning Me. (45) Then He opened up their mind to understand the Scriptures,

Numbers 15:15-16 KJ3
(15) As for the congregation, there shall be one statute both for you and for the alien that lives with you, a never-ending statute throughout your generations; as you are, so shall the alien be before Jehovah.
(16) There shall be one law and one ordinance both for you and for the alien that lives with you.

Matthew 5:17-18 KJ3
(17) Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.
(18) For truly I say to you, Until the heaven and the earth should pass away, not one iota or one point shall pass away from the Law, not until all things should occur.

Luke 16:16-17 KJ3
(16) The Law and the Prophets were until John; from then the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is entering into it by force.
(17) But it is easier for the heaven and the earth to pass away than one point of the Law to fail.

All the questions above are answered in those verses, if you would take time to analyze their scope. The most important thing about those quotes is to note that the New Testament was not even conceived yet when Jesus was teaching. That is, the New Testament is not indispensable for seeking eternal life. The Old Testament is so indispensable that Jesus made sure He declared that one dot on an i in the Law is more important than our own world.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 LITV
(3) For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up to themselves teachers tickling the ear; (4) and they will turn away the ear from the truth and will be turned aside to myths.

Would your spiritual leaders be teaching you an enlightened blend of the Gospel and myths as in Genesis 3:1-6 which is echoed in 2 Timothy 4:3-4? How can you tell that you have not sought to be comfortable in that Christian category of 2 Timothy 4:3-4? Many do. If not, the Bible would be lying. Is your assembly of the category of 2 Timothy 4:3-4? You are called upon to examine yourself to ascertain that Messiah YHWH Yeshua is in you (2 Corinthians 13:5). If He is in you, you will witness that He is YHWH (Jeremiah 23:6; Romans 10:9; Philipians 2:5-11; Luke 2:11). Jesus (YESHUA) will return you the favor by confessing your name to God the Father (Matthew 10;32-33; Luke 12:8-9).
